Anthropic's amended IPO filing commits at least $121.3 billion to Google, $110.0 billion to Amazon and $44.9 billion to Microsoft, owed whether or not it uses the capacity. That is a firm floor under cloud backlogs, but the money only moves as capacity is handed over.

Alphabet now guarantees $48.0 billion of other companies' data centre rent, up from $16.9 billion at the end of 2025. If a tenant defaults, it pays and takes the halls. Lenders are financing buildings on Google's name, not the tenant's.

Microsoft capex misses $50B as rented GPU capacity runs late

Microsoft’s capex and finance leases came to $45.2 billion in the quarter to September, about $5 billion under its guide, because some third-party GPU-as-a-service deliveries slipped to January-June 2027. It still guides over $50 billion this quarter.

SpaceX signed a binding commitment for a $40 billion master finance lease with an Apollo-managed vehicle for Nvidia Vera Rubin GPUs. Rent of a twentieth of each tranche a quarter starts only on delivery in the first half of 2027.
